About

When we look around, we often see that those around us and ourselves, live as if we have unlimited time. It is a sobering fact that most of us easily experience — the waste of time. The truth is however, that our days are numbered and our life gets shorter with each passing day.

If you think this fact is depressing, then this information may not be useful to you. This understanding is about using this realization to wake oneself up to the fullness of this precious life. If you’d like to gain a perspective quickly, imagine what would you like to have written on your tombstone. How did you live your life? How did your life affect the life of others? This realization is about the purpose and meaning of your life.

To be perfectly honest, for the big part of my life I lived without awareness of a relationship between inner meaning and outer expression. I lived like most young men do, — reacting to whatever outer conditions I found myself in, conditioned to believe without examination that things in life were happening “to” me. And because I wasn’t lucky, it was the reason my life wasn’t working out to become a tale of “happily ever after”.

It was as if I was walking through life blinded or asleep, moving at random, stumbling and falling. Trying to feel my way through my life. I tried many endeavors and continually was starting new projects hoping that one of them would be the one that would work out without any obstacles or resistance. I was going around in circles looking for fulfillment outside of myself. It cost a lot of energy and money. I had many adventures and travels that gave me a temporary reprieve from that silent but nagging question “what’s next?”

One day, after I came back from several months of travel again to the monotony of a job in the service industry, I sat down outside at the end of the night staring into a dance of a passing nightlife. I felt the pressure of the question so distinctly. The question was: “If I continue to do what I’ve always done, what is going to change?” I felt caught and bare, and I knew that I couldn’t hide from it. I knew deeply that I wasn’t doing what was in my heart.

In that very instant I knew that I wasn’t alone feeling this dissonance and confusion grappling to find a meaning and direction to my life. I sensed that there were many people, who might not even be aware that they too are searching to find direction. I always felt compassion and joy in helping others to find their freedom.

I decided to enrich my awareness through education and mentor-ship in order to understand and master life, and to be effective in service of finding meaning and purpose for others.
